Almira is a new Pre-K through 8 school for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, designed to support both educational programming and the surrounding neighborhood.

The seven-acre site is thoughtfully organized to provide clear separation between parent and bus drop-off areas, as well as dedicated parking for visitors and staff, improving safety and daily circulation.

The campus includes age-appropriate outdoor spaces, with separate play areas for Pre-K and grades 1-5, along with a multi-use play field that supports physical education and school activities.

A pervious pavement entry plaza with shade trees creates a welcoming arrival experience.

The site and landscape design reinforce the school’s role within the revitalized urban neighborhood and support the project’s LEED silver goal.
