Collinwood Athletic Complex - Turf & Track Replacement

In 2005, Behnke led the design team in converting a 9.5-acre, urban brownfield site into a first class community recreation facility for the City of Cleveland.

The Collinwood Athletic Complex, designed for use by the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, features a 400-meter all-weather track, a synthetic turf football/soccer field, a 3,600 seat stadium with lights, and a multipurpose building with concessions, restrooms and locker rooms.

Behnke recently managed the replacement of the synthetic turf and installation of Brock pad as well as the resurfacing the track, upgrading facility pavement, and new fencing.
