AKRON, OHIO

In collaboration with Gensler and Conservation Design Forum, Behnke designed Goodyear’s Global Headquarters’ site renovation and expansion. The site design balances the owner's desire for a high-end entry plaza and employee patio with a need for tight security and fire access.  Two green roofs, rain gardens, pervious pavement, a roof drain level spreader, native plantings, and a 7-acre prairie grass meadow all contributed to the project’s LEED Gold certification.
