Heritage Park II

LOCATION: Cleveland, OH

CLIENT: City of Cleveland

The City of Cleveland Mayor’s Office of Capital Projects commissioned Behnke Landscape Architecture to develop a schematic design and then construction documents for the restoration of Heritage Park II.

This park is approximately a half an acre in size, and it is located within the Flats District along the Cuyahoga River. The goal is to implement improvements to this park and reestablish it as a premier destination and gathering place along the river.

Program elements include: shelter, lighting, sidewalk and curb repair, site furnishings, planting, and a completely restored boardwalk.

This project was originally designed by Behnke Landscape Architecture over 40 years ago.
