Lake Metroparks Greenway Trail

LOCATION: Concord, OH

Behnke Landscape Architecture completed construction documents for a 4.4-mile greenway through the central portion of Lake County along an abandoned railroad track. Construction was completed in fall of 2001.

Following construction completion, we examined potential alignment options and made a final recommendation for extending the trail north to Lake Erie and south to an existing bikeway in Geauga County, creating a continuous, 10-mile trail.
