LAKE METROPARKS GREENWAY TRAIL

LAKE METROPARKS - CONCORD, OHIO

This 4.4-mile rail-to-trail conversion created a greenway through the central portion of Lake County, connecting residents and visitors to several Lake Metroparks reservations.

Following completion of the trail, Behnke examined potential alignment options and made recommendations for extending the trail north to Lake Erie and south to the Geauga Park District Maple Highlands Trail, creating a continuous, 10-mile trail.     

Construction Cost:  $2.5 Million (Phase 1); $8.2 Million (Total)
