The Marian Mall extends outward from Welsh Commons, creating a meaningful campus destination that embodies the core principles of Saint Ignatius High School. This enhancement project includes two key spiritual components - the Grotto and Pathway.
The Grotto serves as the focal point of the space, offering a serene setting for prayer, reflection, and gathering. It also functions as a gateway leading into the Reflection Courtyard.
The Pathway provides an intimate pedestrian connection between Welsh Commons and the Grotto. This thoughtful walkway honors the footsteps of a beloved former educator and integrates elements of the Corporal Works of Mercy.
